3ct lab-grown diamonds explained

A 3ct diamond is a true statement size with unmistakable presence. Carat is weight, not size — how large a 3ct diamond looks depends on its cut and shape, so two 3ct stones can face up quite differently. Use the "see it true to size" tool on any product to judge the real face-up dimensions on a finger.

Every diamond here is lab-grown — a real diamond with the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and fire as a mined stone, created above ground in a matter of weeks rather than extracted over millennia. • Favour an excellent cut — a well-cut stone looks bigger and brighter than a poorly cut one of the same weight.
• Elongated shapes (oval, marquise, pear) tend to look larger than round for the same carat.
